I took these first four photos in crowded protest situations. The first, second and fourth pictures were taken at the anti-war protest last April in D.C.
For this first shot, I climbed a twelve foot column.


Here, officers are keeping protesters away from a Klansmen speech in a Chicago suburb last year. This is the only picture I took with an SLR camera. The rest are digital.


The next four are architectural shots.




These last few are portraits and candids.




This last one is especially significant to fans of this band, the Breeders. Kim Deal (left) has sobered up mostly since the band's platinum-selling album Last Splash. Here, however, she's been playing the wrong chords for the first half of the song "No Aloha". Her sister, Kelley Deal (right), is trying to show her what to play.
